CASI
Cornerstone Automation Systems, otherwise known as CASI, is a private company in Prosper, Texas. They design, implement, and manufacture material handling, manufacturing automation, and packaging systems. They also develop software modules used by hundreds of customers worldwide.
Automation systems offered by CASI include WCS software, checkweigh systems, barcode and RFID verification, cubing systems, conveyor systems, automatic box opener, sortation systems, labeling/print and apply systems, controls and engineering, picking systems, and manifesting systems.
The company employs between 16 and 49 employees, including in-house engineers. They make most hardware in-house, verify the quality of every system before it leaves the facility, and guarantee that the system will work as ordered. All installations are completed by Cornerstone Automation Systems employees, never by a third party.
CASI’s WCS software, “SolidSuite,” is a web-based application suite that covers every process offered by Cornerstone Automation Systems. Conveying, labeling and manifesting, picking, and QC and reporting functions are all handled with SolidSuite.
In addition to hardware and software products, Cornerstone Automation Systems also offers engineering services. CAD, network design, electrical panels, custom fabrication, conveyor controls, field engineering, scanner installation, and project management are all services offered by CASI by their team of specialists.
Cornerstoneautosys.com offers a wide range of conveyors, accessories, and conveyor controls. Each order is pre-engineered to ensure customers get the right system for their application, and to help develop a realistic budget for designing the system. There are two types of conveyors available – ones that run on 24 volt technology, and ones that run on 480 volts. Most systems are available as either the standard or industrial versions.
There are three main conveyor systems available from Cornerstone Automation Systems: the tote conveyor system, the case conveyor system, and the cross dock conveyor system. Pre-engineering allows the customer to decide, based on product type, speed, and integration needs, which system would best suit their business.
